PART 1: TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the bloomfield application (the "App"), you (the "User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy (incorporated herein by reference). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vamsi Chitturi, the solo developer and service provider ("Service Provider," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App.
2. Eligibility
The App is available for users of all ages. We welcome everyone to join our community of positivity and inspiration.
3. Account Registration and Security
- Clerk Authentication: The App uses Clerk for user authentication, including Google Sign-In (OAuth). By using these services, you agree to Clerk's terms of service and privacy policy.
- Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Security Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us at bloominquiriespage@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Conduct and Content Standards
- User-Generated Content: You are solely responsible for the content you post, publish, or display on the App ("User Content").
- Prohibited Content: You agree not to post User Content that is:
- Illegal, fraudulent, or promotes illegal activities.
- Infringing on any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive.
- Obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit.
- Contains hate speech or incites violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
- Misleading, deceptive, or constitutes spam.
- Content Moderation: The Service Provider reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, screen, and review all User Content at any time and for any reason. We have a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate content. We may, in our sole discretion, remove or disable access to any User Content that we believe violates these Terms, and we may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
- Our Rights: The App, including its design, graphics, code, and all underlying technology, is the exclusive property of the Service Provider and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
- Your Rights to Your Content: By posting User Content, you grant the Service Provider a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, host, store, cache, reproduce, modify, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the App.
- Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, or create derivative works thereof.
6. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services, including but not limited to Clerk (for authentication), Convex (for backend data storage and functions), and Google (for OAuth). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. The Service Provider is not responsible for the actions, content, or data handling of these third parties.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability
- "As Is" Service: THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
- No Guarantees: The Service Provider does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You use the App at your own risk.
- Limitation of Liability: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE PROVIDER (VAMSI CHITTURI) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE APP.
- ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE APP.
- UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.
- ANY DAMAGES RELATED TO YOUR DEVICE (E.G., BATTERY DRAIN, DATA USAGE).
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Service Provider (Vamsi Chitturi) from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your User Content; or (d) your violation of any third-party right.
9. Termination
The Service Provider may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and you must delete the App from your device.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Middlesex County, New Jersey.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and/or posting a notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
PART 2: PRIVACY POLICY
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide, secure, and improve the App.
- Information You Provide:
- Profile Data: When you authenticate with Clerk (e.g., via Google Sign-In), we collect your name and email address.
- User Content: The text, images, and other content you post on the App.
- Interactions: Data about the posts you "like" or otherwise interact with.
- Information Collected Automatically:
- Usage Data: We use Convex to log information about how you use the App, such as the features you access and the time of your interactions. This helps us diagnose problems and improve performance.
- Device Information: We may collect information about your device type, operating system, and App version.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your account and provide the core functionality of the App.
- To store and display your User Content and interactions.
- To moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service, including identifying and removing inappropriate posts.
- To analyze usage trends and improve the App's performance and user experience.
- To communicate with you, such as responding to your support inquiries.
3. How We Share Your Information
- Service Providers: We share your data with trusted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, strictly under contractual obligations to handle your data securely and confidentially. These include:
- Clerk: For user authentication and account management.
- Convex: For backend data storage, processing, and serverless functions.
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request (e.g., court order, subpoena).
- Safety and Security: We may disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Service Provider, other users, or the public, including to enforce our Terms of Service.
- No Sale of Data: We do not and will not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored and processed by Convex. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App. You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time through the in-app account deletion feature in the profile settings menu. Upon account deletion request, we will permanently delete your personal data from our active databases within 30 days. Please note that residual copies may remain in our backup systems for up to 60 days before being automatically overwritten, except where we are required by law to retain certain information.
6. Your Rights

7. Children's Privacy
We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users, including children. We handle all user data with the same high standards of security and privacy, regardless of age. Parents and guardians are encouraged to guide and monitor their children's use of the App.
